The Russian Center was built in 1911 and retains much of its original Art-Deco character. It has been structurally retro-fitted to conform to all current San Francisco building codes. Fully accessible to the handicapped public, the Russian Center has a ramp for entry and for delivery of equipment for events, as well as elevators to all floors.
Catering Information:
For an authentic Russian experience at the Russian Center we can recommend catering firms that specialize in Russian cuisine. They can provide the full Russian dining experience, from "zakuski" (appetizer such as blini with caviar) to "sladki stol" (a full assortment of Russian dessert delicacies). Russian appetizers, Russian main courses, Russian entertainment and of course, Russian vodka! What a grand way to celebrate a special occasion. Clients are welcome, of course, to hire their own catering firm. We can also recommend authentic Russian entertainment including balalaika players, ensembles, gypsy, operatic singers and exciting dancers in traditional Russian costumes.
Traditional Vodka Tasting Bar:

Includes flavored vodkas such as black pepper, cranberry, guava, hot red pepper, lemon, lime, raspberry and walnut. In keeping with Russian tradition, all vodka is served ICE-COLD in shot glasses.

The Russian Center is able to provide a full range of sound equipment and a professional sound technician. Available equipment includes

Parking Facilities:
Parking is available directly across the street from the Russian Center via a private parking firm. Arrangements for event parking can be made directly with this company.

Grand Ballroom/Auditorium & Theater includes:
Lobby, Coat Room, Bar Area, Reception Area, Catering kitchen/staging area and all other areas on the second floor.
Banquet & Reception room includes:
Bar Area, Catering kitchen/staging area, Lobby and Coat Room.
